What  a topic!  Most people cannot imagine the differences there are between socks. One of the worst injustices the BigBox-Chain-Conglomerate stores have done to the athletic world is teach people to buy cheap cotton socks by the pack.

Cotton is the worst thing to wear in a shoe.

Why? So glad you asked. Cotton does absorb moisture, but it doesn’t take it anywhere. The moisture just sits against your feet, making you far more prone to blisters and foot fungus.
