W. L. Donehower was founded in 1877, and still houses some of the old fixtures. The personalized service is also a throwback to an earlier time, with individual fitting and advice from our shoe professionals. The mix of merchandise is diverse, with an emphasis on quality, performance, and fun! Running apparel (including sport tights, shorts, sport bras, and a broad range of moisture-wicking garments) and running shoes are a particular specialty (we stock Women's widths from 2A to 4E, D to 4E in Men's!), though our shoe department also boasts a huge array of other sport sneakers, cleats, sandals, shoes, and boots. Soccer boots, equipment, shinguards, socks and shorts are offered year-round. Our Dance department has ballet, tap, jazz, character, and pointe shoes, as well as leotards, tights, and warm-ups for adults and children. For dance or gymnastics, you’ll love our sparkly selection!
